This group is open to youth within the Greater Hamilton Health Network (Hamilton, Haldimand, Niagara).
This group is open to anyone ages 12-18 who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, Two Spirit, trans, non-binary, queer and/or questioning their sexual orientation or gender. There is a middle school (12-13 years) and a high school group (14-18 years).
This group is in person, once a week for 9 weeks, 2 hours.
In this group, you will learn how to:
- Cope with life's stressors
- Increase positive thoughts and feelings
- Learn where to go for support and meet other LGTBQ+ youth
This group is run in partnership with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board and the Compass Community Health Centre.
