The Hamilton Family Health Team offers several mental health groups and webinars to help you learn skills to live a healthier life, learn from others and connect with people who understand you and what you are dealing with. We have several groups to help you to learn skills in a supportive environment.
For most of our mental health groups, you will need a referral from a Family Doctor, Nurse or Mental Health Counsellor. Please talk it over with them and ask for a referral if you feel a group would be helpful. After you are referred, you will get a letter with a number to call to register for the group you want to join. If you have questions about eligibility, please call the Mental Health Groups Line at 905-667-4852.
