Youth Groups
The Hamilton Family Health Team Child and Youth Mental Health Program gives patients access to mental health services for children, youth and their families in their family doctor's office. Mental health counsellors, nurses and other members of the team work together with family doctors to provide care to children, youth and their families in times of need.
Our groups are open to patients of the Hamilton Family Health Team.
For most of our mental health groups, you will need a referral from a Family Doctor, Nurse or Counsellor. Please talk to them and ask them to refer you. After you are referred, you will get a letter with a number to call to register for the group you want to join.
