Caregiver Group: Emotion Focused Strategies for Supporting your Child or Youth
This group is open to all caregivers within the Greater Hamilton Health Network (Hamilton, Haldimand, Niagara) who want to learn strategies to support a loved one.
Offered both online and in-person once a week, for 6 weeks.
Caregivers with a child of any age and developmental stage will learn about how to:
This group is run in partnership with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board and the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic School Board.

This webinar series is designed to provide education and practical steps to caregivers to help promote mental health and wellness in children and youth. The goal is to empower you, as a caregiver, to understand childhood and youth development and learn strategies and tools to manage diverse situations.
Throughout this webinar series, we will be covering topics such as social and emotional development across childhood and adolescent years, developing healthy foundations for mental health promotion and wellness, the benefits of pro-social connections, and a overview of local community resources.
