The Hamilton Family Health Team offers three groups to help you better manage your emotions. If you struggle with managing your emotions, speak with your Family Physician, Nurse or Mental Health Counsellor.
Introduction to Coping Skills Group
Emotion Regulation and Self-Compassion Group
Offered both online and in-person based on patient preference. Once a week, for 5 weeks.
In this group, you will learn introductory skills to control your emotions and mood. This is required before entering the Coping Skills group.
Ask your Family Physician, Nurse or Mental Health Counsellor for more information or to refer you to this group.
